Today was a ramp up run. The first mile was at 7:38, the second was 7:20, and the final was 6:57. I felt really sluggish for the first mile, enough to almost turn around and go home. But, I got an email from the dude that won the Pikes Peak Marathon. (Mr. Carpenter) His signature said, "run fast, when it starts to hurt, run faster."
How can I argue with that?
